Young People Arts Project: New Project Opportunity

Audiences Central, in partnership with experienced arts consultant Kerry Endsor, is looking to develop and deliver a high-profile, public-facing, arts project that will encourage and inspire young people in the West Midlands to engage with the arts and culture.

This exciting initiative provides a unique opportunity to raise the profile of the excellent youth arts work already in existence throughout the region and support organisations working with young people to reach new and wider youth audiences.

This project will also fill gaps in the youth arts provision where necessary, offering youth arts organisations and individuals the prospect of developing and delivering a new youth arts offer, supported by a prominent and extensive campaign.

These offers will be promoted under one high-profile ‘umbrella’ brand, with an interactive digital resource and a targeted marketing campaign, which will be designed and driven by young people.

The BIG Lottery fund is interested in our project outline proposal and we are now in the process of completing the formal application. We are inviting arts organisations, schools, youth workers and other parties involved in the youth arts sector to complete the following form to an express their interest in this project by no later than 19 December 2008:
