Do you enjoy singing, or have enjoyed singing in the past? Come along to a FREE singing workshop for men with the CBSO's inspirational and world-renowned Chorus Director, Simon Halsey, and singers from the City of Birmingham Symphony Chorus.
Tuesday 25 November, 6.45 - 8.15pm
You should have basic music-reading skills and be able to hold a tune, but this event is just for fun and all are welcome, so don't worry if you haven't dusted off those vocal cord cobwebs!
The evening will have a British flavour to it, with music by composers such as Vaughan Williams, Gilbert & Sullivan, Purcell, Rutter and Benjamin Britten.
"Take this opportunity to sing with the great tenor and bass section of the CBSC. I look forward to seeing you there - we'll have a fantastic time." Simon Halsey, Chorus Director
To attend the workshop email the Chorus Manager, Elen Elis at eelis@cbso.co.uk, or call her on 0121 616 6508 by Tuesday 18 November.
Following the workshop, there will be an opportunity for those who are interested to come to the City of Birmingham Symphony Chorus rehearsal on Wednesday 26 November from 6.45 - 8.15pm, also at CBSO Centre - experience this world-class choir in action and join in!
