Description
About the role
You’ll raise income and generous support from single supporters, Charitable Trusts and other major donors. These funds will go towards important projects within the West Midlands, mainly the restoration of Croome Court. You’ll help us meet ambitious fundraising targets, by delivering a programme of innovative fundraising events. Always on hand to offer your advice, you’ll lead direct mail campaigns and it’ll be down to you to explore new sponsorship opportunities. You’ll be a self starter but you’ll also work closely with the central fundraising team and other local colleagues.
About you
As it happens, you’ve got plenty of fundraising experience – and during this time, you’ll have developed an ability to inspire confidence and build rapport with major donors, charitable trusts, volunteer fundraising advocates and potential legators. You’re undaunted by multi-million pound targets, motivated by short timescales and good at making personal approaches. Naturally, you understand charity and data protection legislation, and have first hand project management and administration skills. You’re also highly numerate and IT literate and teamwork underpins everything you do.
